User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of any photos you upload to GrubGrade. By submitting a photo, you grant GrubGrade a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform and in promotional materials.

Prohibited Content

AI-Generated Scores

All review scores and verdicts are generated by artificial intelligence. They represent automated visual assessments, not statements of fact, professional opinions, or food safety evaluations. See our AI Disclaimer for full details.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent content, or abuse the platform. Terminated accounts may have their reviews removed at our discretion.

Limitation of Liability

GrubGrade is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from AI-generated reviews, service interruptions, or data loss. Scores should not be relied upon for food safety, allergen, or dietary decisions.

Data Handling

Photos are stored on Vercel Blob. Review data is stored in PostgreSQL on Railway. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

Review Ordering & Transparency

Reviews on GrubGrade are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first). Businesses cannot pay to influence, remove, or re-order scores. There are no sponsored placements, promoted reviews, or paid rankings. All scores are generated by AI based solely on the photo submitted by the user.
